Curious regions of cyrenaic happiness: the well-being of the self, the others and the comunitarian dimension
The notion of happiness has among the Cyrenaics a peculiar status. This paper examines the link between this concept and hedonism, taking into account the features related to the welfare of oneself and others’ well-being. On this basis, it explores the impact of these assumptions on assessing politics and the possibility of admitting a kind of community compatible with hedonist views.
